ImageCellnetrix successfully delivers its smart card Java Card 2.2.1 based operating system with Open Platform 2.1 and SIM/USIM support

Cellnetrix together with its partners, American jNet Technology Inc. and South Korean JRSC Ltd, has successfully delivered a smart card Java Card 2.2.1 based operating system with Open Platform 2.1 and SIM/USIM support. The Operating system will be used by SK C&C in its 3G products for Asian and European markets. The company completely implemented UICC infrastructure, as well as SIM and USIM applications with RUIM functionality, including UICC API support and COMP128 v.1, Milenage and CAVE authentication algorithms. As a part of the delivery (U)SIM toolkit framework was provided including necessary USIM and UICC Release 6 java card API. Product has been tested in the network of the biggest South-Korean operator SKT. Despite the facts that the delivered software was implemented on Samsung ARM SC100 microcontroller it could be easily ported onto any 16-bit or 32-bit hardware platform.
