Cellnetrix enters SmartTrust WIB certification program

Image Cellnetrix enters SmartTrust WIB certification program to offer more services based on this technology.

Cellnetrix has signed an agreement to enter SmartTrust WIB certification program which main world-fame SIM card manufactures and software developers take part in. Today WIB became a de-facto standard for wireless interactive services access based on SIM Toolkit. To date, more than 600 million SmartTrust WIB™ SIM cards are in circulation. SmartTrust Certified™ is a certification program for SIM cards, including testing of SmartTrust WIB™ and/or RFM/RAM. The certification program is open to all SIM card vendors. The goal of the program is to ensure mobile operators availability to a wide range of SIM cards that are compliant to SmartTrust WIB and proven to be interoperable with the SmartCore™ environment.

Participation in certification program guarantees that WIB micro browser provided by CellSIM operating system fully complies to original standards and application and services provided by Cellnetrix on top of SmartTrust WIB satisfy most advanced requirements and quality standards.

Program participation will also allow Cellnetrix to take active part in development of SmartTrust WIB standards in particular WIB 2.0 and other additional applications.
